Follow Chevron Safe Work Practice, OSHA, WorkSafe BC, and API 1646 (whichever is more stringent) for all Chevron Retail Work.
AP1646 certification is required for all contractors and sub-contractors working at Chevron Retail & C & I Locations in North America.

General Work Permit, High risk form(s), JSA's and proper Hazard identification are required for ALL work that involves the following tasks;

Commercial Driving
Contractors must use the Chevron M&C General Work Permit and associated High risk forms, however you can use your own JSA and Hazard Identification tool or use the examples provided.Each contractor must also provide a list of their competent Remote Permit Writers including their certification dates, this list must be submitted to Chevron and kept updated at all times, at least annually.

A JSA is not a substitute for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or Chevron standards. Each contractor is ultimately responsible for the safety of its employees and its compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Chevron standards. Changing conditions, such as weather, location, terrain, equipment, processes, etc., may not be addressed here, but must be addressed by each contractor with its employees before work begins, these tools should not be forwarded without Chevron's express consent.
